Heat Pads

Winters in Ukraine are cold, especially for soldiers sitting in trenches and staying outside in positions.... Many units purchased heat pads in small quantities and it is a lot more economical to purchase a larger batch, stockpile it and deliver it in phases.

For this campaign we bought 4,500 heat pads at one time: 1,500 foot warmers, 1,500 hand warmers and 1,500 body warmers, for a total price of €2,900. That translates to €0.65 per heat pad, a bargain.

Logistics

The heat pads have been delivered to the Odessa region, and stockpiled. The available heat pads have been delivered to many different units.
